The creator’s story

David Gere’s story carries both the weight of a devastating childhood loss and the creative energy of a life in entertainment. An actor, producer, and owner of nightlife venues in Connecticut, he has built a career on both sides of the camera. His producing work includes Lifetime’s Drowning in Secrets, Tubi originals Alarmed and Midnight Hustle, and the crime thriller Vault. Television audiences may also recognize him as Frank Meltzer on The CW’s Gossip Girl.
