In this immersive process, you’ll work closely with our expert perfumers, Joe Gallagher, who brings over a decade of experience in the world of product development and market entry. Christopher Lykes, a recent graduate of the Roma Creator Series, and Joe will guide you through a detailed consultation to uncover your unique scent preferences, personality profile, mood, and emotions. We also consider any allergens or sensitivities to ensure your fragrance is as comfortable as it is captivating.

Tailored to Your Essence

For those who wish to delve deeper, our bespoke service allows you to tailor your scent based on personal elements such as your astrological sign, numerology, or any other aspects you wish to include. Joe combines his extensive expertise with a touch of intuitive guidance to craft a sample blend that captures your essence.

The Creation Process

Your bespoke fragrance journey unfolds over three thoughtfully spaced sessions, ensuring that every aspect of your scent is meticulously crafted and refined.

Session 1: Initial Consultation - $100

Your experience begins with an in-depth consultation where you’ll explore your scent preferences, personality, and the emotions you wish your fragrance to evoke. The perfumers will guide you through a sensory journey, discussing different notes and combinations to discover the foundation of your bespoke fragrance. This session sets the stage for the creation of a scent that is authentically you.

Session 2: Fragrance Exploration - $200

In the second session, you’ll experience the first iteration of your custom blend. Roma will present a selection of fragrance options based on your initial consultation. This is your opportunity to explore the nuances of each blend, noting what resonates with you and what might need adjustment. Your feedback is invaluable as we fine-tune the fragrance to align perfectly with your vision.

Session 3: Final Refinement - $200

The final session is where your fragrance comes to life in its most refined form. After considering your insights from the previous session, the team will present the perfected version of your scent. This session allows for any last-minute adjustments to ensure that the fragrance is exactly as you imagined—uniquely yours, and ready to make its debut.

Visit our perfumery in Charleston, or enjoy the bespoke fragrance experience from the comfort of your home. 

In person: You'll have the opportunity to explore a wide array of fragrance notes, experience the blending process firsthand, and refine your custom scent in a sensory-rich environment. This hands-on experience ensures that every detail of your fragrance is crafted to perfection.

Remote: In this remote experience, your three sessions will occur over Zoom, where you’ll work closely with our expert perfumer to create your custom fragrance. Throughout each step of the journey, your scent samples will be mailed directly to you, allowing you to experience and refine your fragrance just as you would in person.

What You Receive

At the end of your experience, you’ll receive a generous 100mL of your custom fragrance, along with the precise formula used to create it. Plus, we’ll keep a copy of your formula on file, so you can easily reorder whenever you wish. Unit prices will be established for multiple sizes that you will then be able to order on demand for any inventory you would like to stock.

Your journey doesn’t end with the creation of your bespoke fragrance—it culminates in the perfect finishing touches that elevate your experience to a truly unforgettable one.

Fragrance Naming: You’ll have the opportunity to name your custom fragrance, adding a personal and meaningful layer to your creation. Whether it’s a cherished memory, a personal mantra, or simply a name that resonates with you, this step ensures your fragrance is uniquely yours.

Special Presentation: Your fragrance will be delivered in a beautifully crafted bottle, accompanied by a personalized note from the team and an invite to launch your product in a filmed experience. Additionally, you’ll receive a certificate that commemorates the creation of your signature scent—a keepsake that celebrates your journey of self-expression.
